About Sober In The Garden

This website is the digital home of Sober In The Garden, an alcohol-free café bar tucked into Wheatsheaf Yard in the heart of Morpeth, Northumberland. It exists to introduce our garden to anyone who would rather gather without alcohol in the glass. Here you can browse the food and drinks menus, see the space and the people who fill it, read what guests have said, check our opening hours, find us on the map, and order collection in a couple of taps.

The site is made for the sober, the sober-curious and the simply thirsty: designated drivers, expectant parents, anyone taking a night off, and friends who want a beautiful table without pressure. Couples, families, remote workers and dog walkers are all welcome. We serve specialty Italian coffee, breakfast, lunch and brunch, plus a considered list of non-alcoholic drinks and botanical spirits — and we do not take table reservations, so simply walk in and join us.
